1. Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug. This is to prevent the engine from starting while you are working on it.

2. Remove the blade from the mower.

3. Remove the belt from around the pulley.

4. Unscrew the mounting bolts that secure the pulley to the mower.

5. Remove the pulley from the mower.

6. Install the new pulley in its place.

7. Secure the pulley with the mounting bolts.

8. Place the belt around the pulley.

9. Reinstall the blade.

10. Reconnect the spark plug wire to the spark plug.

11. Start the lawn mower and make sure the belt is running correctly.
