1. Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug of the lawn mower to prevent any accidental starting of the lawn mower.
2. Use a socket wrench or adjustable wrench to loosen and remove the nuts that are holding the blade in place.
3. Carefully remove the old blade and set aside.
4. Place the new blade on the mower shaft and align the blade with the washers and mounting bolts.
5. Secure the blade in place with the nuts. Be sure to tighten the nuts securely but not too tight.
6. Reconnect the spark plug wire to the spark plug.
7. Test run the mower to ensure the blade is properly secured and spinning correctly.
